Philosophy

Every student brings a unique voice, story, and set of goals into the studio. That is why my teaching is shaped around the individual artist.

Together, we will build a healthy technique and develop the confidence to communicate with freedom and authenticity. My goal is to give you practical tools that serve your next audition or performance while supporting your long-term growth as an independent artist.

Emerging Singers

Build a strong foundation while developing greater range, consistency, musicality, and confidence. No previous formal training is required.

Dancers Developing Their Voices

Bring the same physical awareness and discipline you have as a dancer to your singing. Develop the vocal skills needed to move from the dance call to the singing audition with greater assurance.

Broadway and Professional Performers

Maintain vocal health and stamina, address technical challenges, and meet the demands of auditions, rehearsals, performances, and an eight-show week. Our sessions offer a supportive place to explore new material and keep your instrument strong.

College-Bound Performers

Prepare for college and conservatory auditions with individualized guidance in vocal technique, repertoire selection, song interpretation, monologue coaching, prescreens, and audition strategy.

Experience That Supports Your Growth

For more than 30 years, I have worked as a performer and educator across Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, opera, television, and film. I bring that experience into every lesson, combining a strong technical foundation with practical insight into today’s rehearsal rooms, stages, sets, and auditions.

My teaching experience includes Yale University’s Shen Curriculum for Musical Theater, the Institute for American Musical Theatre, and an artist residency at Lafayette College. My students have gone on to perform on Broadway, in national tours, on television and film, and at regional theatres throughout the country.
